Fire crews were dispatched to the building on Lockwood Avenue in New Rochelle at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8, where there was a report of a working fire, officials said. The blaze reportedly broke out on the second floor of the building and was quickly knocked down.
The incident reportedly caused an evacuation of the building as firefighters dealt with the fire.
Multiple engines from the New Rochelle Fire Department responded to the scene to deal with the reported fire.
